Presidential Task Force on the Environment: This task force is responsible for ensuring that Holy Cross is taking the right steps to becoming a more sustainable college. Beginning in April 2020, Holy Cross hired its first Director of Sustainability to lead the newly created Office of Sustainabilty. Though the College has had a long standing commitment to sustainablity, this position elevates the College's ability to pursue sustainable action.

In the past three years, the Office of Sustainabilty has worked to grow awareness and support of sustainabilty on campus by implementing engagement programs such as the Green Influencer Program, Sustainabilty Employee Affinity Group, Green Living Certification, and more. The Office has also worked to increase operational sustainability by implementing programs to increase waste diversion and energy use.

The Presidential Task Force on the Environment also oversees campus-wide sustainability efforts.
