The website focuses on the sustainability actions going on around campus during the year. This includes information about the energy challenge, solar energy, sustainable revolving loan funds, recycling, climate action plan, environmental values and environmental action. It provides links to various events regarding sustainability on campus. It also provides links to additional information, contact information and outside sources for more information about sustainability

A brief description of the sustainability newsletter:

The sustainability newsletter can be accessed online through a link on the sustainability web page. It provides regular updates on news, people, events, energy, waste, and conservation tips relevant to campus. Information about forums on campus and speakers are provided along with links for more information. Various campus events in relation to sustainability are also highlighted such as energy audits of on-campus houses and information about local farmers markets.

Within the residence halls, there are tips about how to live sustainably on campus. Eco Representatives are also employed to promote sustainable living. These events include light bulb swaps, recycling surveys, shower coaches, homemade laundry detergent and monthly displays.

Each week the student newspaper has a “sustainably tip of the week” in order to inform students how to live more sustainably. There are various columns about sustainability events throughout the year as well.

The institution provides monthly forums about sustainability related topics. This includes topics like becoming carbon-neutral and sustainable eating practices. The forums include speakers from the faculty as well as student input. It provides a time to discuss topics and ask questions.
