A brief description of the carbon sinks, including vendor, project source, verification program and contract timeframes (as applicable):
CLC composts coffee grounds on campus at its Campus Farm. Pre- and Post-consumer food scraps are collected and composted offsite. CLC is managing over 65 acres of wetland, prairie, and woodland habitats on its 3 campuses. These habitats are not being tracked to measure carbon sequestration.

Adjusted net Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions:
Performance year Baseline year
Adjusted net GHG emissions 12,576.21 Metric tons of CO2 equivalent 18,901.27 Metric tons of CO2 equivalent

Start and end dates of the performance year and baseline year (or three-year periods):
Performance year Baseline year
Start date July 1, 2018 July 1, 2008
End date June 30, 2019 June 30, 2009

A brief description of when and why the GHG emissions baseline was adopted:
CLC developed its first GHG study for its Climate Action Plan in 2009. GHG emissions have been studied ever since. GHGs are tracked annually in the Performance Report on the Sustainability Plan.
