A brief description of the institution’s professional development opportunities on sustainability in the curriculum:
The faculty leader of Sustainability Across the Curriculum has been providing professional development opportunities at the College of Lake County for 3 years now. Some SAC opportunities went over a full year period. Other opportunities include leading a book discussion. Next, she is retooling the SAC program to be called Project Acorn. See the attached document which is an invitation for faculty members to join her for a brief and intensive Sustainability Across the Curriculum taking place in early June.
