We award $50,000 annually in student scholarships from vending machine commissions – see attached flier ($500 in major semesters and $200 in summer semester). CLC is working to make textbooks more affordable through: Open Education Resources, Custom Textbook, Digital Textbooks, Textbook Buyback, textbook rentals and dynamic pricing (we buy books online, from students, from wholesalers and then average the cost and put the bookstore margin on top).
