A brief description of the institution’s green infrastructure and LID practices:
CLC follows LID practices with its new construction focused on areas close to existing buildings in areas with existing impacts on soils. CLC has included green infrastructure into landscapes with bioswales in four parking lots. Bioswales are referenced in the college's Landscape Management Plan.

Where possible, the college will incorporate green infrastructure to manage stormwater runoff from its parking lots and other drainage areas. CLC seeks to enhance infiltration of water, reduce stormwater flow, and improve the quality of water entering our lake, ponds, and wetlands.

The attached documentation is still in draft stage awaiting a couple of items regarding maintenance staffing recommendations and approval from the Environmental Action Committee, Operations and Facilities Commission and the Sustainability Council.
