CLC offers bike racks at the various entrances of each of the 3 campuses. On the Grayslake Campus showers are available for commuters.

CLC is working with local governmental partners to enhance trail connections for commuters and for recreation. Trail systems across the Village of Grayslake and Lake County make bicycling a viable option for many.

Over the summer the college closes of Fridays and weekends, saving on commuting and cooling expenses. Staff work longer days 4 days a week during this time.
