A brief description of the program, including examples of peer-to-peer outreach activities:
CLC's Environmental Club choose its own peer-to-peer outreach activities throughout the year, especially during Earth Week. Earth Week takes place every year in the third week of April. In 2015 and 2016 Students organized events such as the Enivornmental Chat, in which they share tips about going green at home. Students take leadership roles in the Restoration Work Day and Campus Clean Up events. One Environmental Club member chose to host the film Cowspiracy and lead a discussion about the merits of veganism. Environmental Club students took a special initiative during America Recycles Day in 2016 to educate peers about the impacts of plastics and trash on the environment. As we phased in composting service in January 2017, the students joined staff in "manning the trash/recycle/compost stations" to educate Cafe patrons about sorting waste. In the 2017 Earth Week, one student chose to educate others about threats to our water supply.

Environmental Club students self-select based on their interests and availability. Students involved with the Environmental Club get credit as an extracurricular activity.
A brief description of the formal training that the student educators receive to prepare them to conduct peer outreach:
The Environmental Club Sponsor and the Sustainability Manager check in with students about the content of their self-selected presentations and provide additional support and supervision. Certain activities require more training and support than others.
A brief description of the financial and/or administrative support the institution provides to the program (e.g. annual budget and/or faculty/staff coordination):
The Environmental Club has a budget of $400 to spend each year. The Sustainability Manager has additional budget to help pay for events such as movies and resources to donate such as reusable cups and bags.
