A brief description of the socially responsible investment option for retirement plans:
The institution offers two socially-responsible options within the TSA investment pool:
-Calvert Social Investment Bond
-Calvert Social Investment Equity
These funds seek to provide as high a level of current income as is consistent with prudent investment risk and preservation of capital through investment in bonds and other straight debt securities meeting its investment and social criteria. The Fund invests primarily in investment grade debt securities rated A or above.
