A brief description of the program(s):
The college offers a "Greening Your Curriculum" workshop through the Professional Development Center as a pilot college through the Illinois Green Economy Network. The workshop consists of three phases: 1. A four-part workshop offered through the Professional Development Center (8 contact hours). 2. Faculty members who have participated in the workshop develop and implement curriculum enhancements in the classroom. 3. Faculty participants report back to share the curriculum and lessons learned. This reporting will be made available to all college faculty and the Illinois Green Economy Network to further promote the integration of sustainability principals into community college curricula.

A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:
Column movement and stipends are offered for workshop participation under the traditional Professional Development Center structure for 8 contact hours. Stipends are also awarded for curriculum development based on the following: - Curriculum development that will impact approximately 0 – 2 weeks of a traditional course will be supported with a $300 stipend - Curriculum development that will impact approximately 2 – 6 weeks of a traditional course will be supported with a $600 stipend
