The college competes in the national Recycle-Mania competition in the Waste Minimization division. The Facilities Department weighs our waste output weekly for eight weeks each Spring. The campaign consists of a variety of competition-related outreach events for students on waste reduction. Campaign activities focus on comparing our waste weights against ourselves the week and year prior.

Weekly waste output is weighed to measure an increase in recycling and waste-diversion strategies across the college
