A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting:
The Center for Sustainable Development organized and distributed a commuter survey in April 2022. The survey was distributed to all faculty, staff and students. About 595 students completed the survey (approximately 8 percent of student respondents are graduate students). Of the undergraduate students who completed the survey, 19 percent were freshmen, 23 percent were sophomores, 25 percent were juniors, and 33 percent were seniors.

The Center for Sustainable Development organized and distributed a commuter survey in April 2022. The survey was distributed to all academic staff, non-academic staff, and students. About 248 academic staff members and 299 non-academic staff members completed the survey.
