A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:

As electric vehicles become more available the State Contract for lease vehicles and the State Approved Vendors for puchasing vehicles will provide options. The intent of getting electric vehicles put on statewide contract this coming year to allow an easy avenue for purchase by any local or state governmental entities, including higher education if they wish to purchase. In review for the coming year, SFM does not look to include (Fully Electric Vehicles) FEVs in lease fleet model just yet but to gather information and data through telematics over the next few years from those that will purchase in planning for future years of potential (Fully Electric Vehicles) FEVs as a viable SFM lease fleet option.
