The College requires contractors to provide green equipment and supplies whenever possible, so long as it is within the guidelines of the State of South Carolina's environmental preferable purchasing policy. In addition, the College specifies all carpet cleaning products shall meet environmental standards, including Green Seal standards, EcoLogo and GREENGUARD.

The College developed and supports an "Assistance to Minority Vendors" program.
