The College of Charleston is a proud member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education, Second Nature's Climate Leadership Network, and the Post Landfill Action Network.

CofC is also a member of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History, National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education, and Higher Education Protection Network.

The Center for Sustainable Development is an active member of the following local, state and regional networks: Charleston Area Sustainability Collaborative, Carolina Recycling Association, South Carolina Collegiate Recycling Network.

In addition, the College of Charleston is a participant in the Black History Intercollegiate Consortium, the Carolinas Chapter of the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education, and the Charleston Chapter of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History.
