A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :

A portion of every orientation presentation focuses on the Center for Sustainable Development and the Triple Bottom Line. This helps to expand new Cougar students' understanding of sustainability as a social, economic and environmental way of thinking. The presentation also covers current projects and opportunities new students have to get involved. Additionally, the orientation booklet and packet provided to all new students includes information about the Center for Sustainable Development and the College's sustainability goals, as well as detailed information on the 2019 sustainability theme (food security) and how incoming students can learn more about the Cougar Food Pantry and related resources on campus.
