A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
The Presidents Cabinet convened a Staff Initiatives Group to receive feedback from the broader campus community regarding issues of employee concerns, satisfaction, resources, and needs. As part of this work, a number of subcommittees were formed to assess the campus climate. In total, 105 employees served on a committee or subcommittee. The results informed the Group's final report and recommendations to the Presidents' Cabinet. (December 17, 2020)

The Staff Initiative Group recommended that a permanent Staff Affairs Council be formed to address the current and future needs of all Colgate employees on an ongoing basis. https://www.colgate.edu/faculty-staff/staff-affairs-council.
