According to our 2020 student exit survey, 85% of seniors reported participating in community service or volunteer work. Information obtained from Karen Cheal in Institutional Research. Two specific programs that focus on community service include the COVE and the Upstate Institue.
The COVE organized 750 student volunteers with 23,000 hours of direct, hands-on volunteer service hours while the Upstate Institute's Field School supported 30 students with 12,000 hours of direct community service.
