Recent examples where students had a formal role in important institutional decision-making include the 2011 Sustainability and Climate Action Plan, 2013 Campus Master Plan, 2013 Campus Strategic Plan. Students also have ongoing roles on the Sustainability Council, the Campus Planning and Physical Resources Committee, some hiring committees, and many other ongoing committees and task forces.
