For administrators: we participate in annual salary surveys through CUPA to determine fair wage across our industry.

Support Staff and Technician: Every 3-5 years we work with Simpson to get a fair wage survey . We conducted the last survey in Spring, 2012.

We work with Simpson in the off years to evaluate salaries based on the market.

The dean of faculty's office performs an annual report on faculty compensation.

Casual wage employees get a minimum state wage.

Besides full-time faculty and staff, Colgate contracts with Sodexo. Sodexo employs 95 people (60 full-time; 35 part-time). All are unionized and earning above minimum wage (including part-time employees).
