The 2002 Strategic Plan, and the 2012 update: "Colby 2013: Toward the Bicentennial" both include environmental dimensions of sustainability at a high level. Both identify Environmental Studies Program as a strategic priority. The 2012 update includes all three dimensions of sustainability: Environmental dimensions are identified under "Our Curriculum" - with the Environmental Studies Program identified as a College priority, and also under "Our Campus" - where it is stated that one of goals for the physical campus is modeling environmentally responsible practices in College buildings and operations.
