CCU uses a variety of social media platforms to promote sustainability across campus. The main handle is Sustain Coastal and they have a Twitter account, Facebook page, and an Instagram account.
There is a newsletter called the Eco Extension that can be viewed on Sustain Coastal's Instagram account.

All recycling stations and water refill stations are signed appropriately.
As a part of LEED, building signage includes an electronic slide that highlights the green features of the building. This sign is dynamic and updateable.

CCU has a map of the green features found throughout campus. It highlights the water refill stations found throughout campus, recycling centers, recycling bin pick up, where reusable to-go containers can be used, our LEED buildings, and the solar panels on the bus stations.

A brief description of the guide for green living and/or incorporating sustainability into the residential experience:
A Recycling and Sustainable Living Guide is handed out to students at the beginning of each academic year to communicate information about living green on and off campus. This guide is applicable to students, staff and faculty. The green includes information about recycling, saving water/energy, reducing waste and using alternative transportation as well as getting involved.
