A brief description of the employee diversity and employment equity assessment(s):
The University has an affirmative action plan in place. Underutilization reports are generated regularly to assess areas where availability externally exceeds representation in our current workforce. If there is underrepresentation, efforts are made to enhance recruitment opportunities by advertising in certain publications and/or journals as well as websites. The University also uses recruitment tools and professional networking to identify potential applicants in under-represented groups.
Post hire, periodic reviews of employee salaries are conducted to assess and address compensation inequity.
