Has the institution conducted a survey or other evaluation that allows for anonymous feedback to measure employee satisfaction and engagement during the previous three years?:
Yes

Percentage of employees assessed, directly or by representative sample:
100

A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
CSU administered an employee satisfaction survey in early 2018 and again in 2019. Administered by an external company, evaluations were sent to all full-time faculty and staff. The surveys had a 50% response rate.

To evaluate employee satisfaction and engagement, HR staff analyze both the quantitative and qualitative responses, broken down by department or division where possible, to find areas where satisfaction and engagement could be improved. The questions asked involve a series of dimensions that identify key areas where engagement is vital to the institution.

A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:
Once the data is analyzed, it is disseminated to senior leadership and plans are developed to address areas where improvement is needed. The results of the survey are shared within each department or division so they know what the areas of improvement are, understand what will be done to improve, and can offer ideas to aid in that improvement.
