Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) award from Insight into Diversity magazine
Cleveland State University was awarded the 2017 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award by INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine. The honor recognizes U.S. colleges and universities that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion through academics, operations and community engagement. This was the fourth year in a row CSU has been selected as a HEED recipient.
INSIGHT Into Diversity selected CSU due to its strong institutional resources supporting diversity and inclusion and its wide range of programs designed to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for all students, faculty and staff. Examples of this commitment include the University’s Office of Inclusion and Multicultural Engagement, which provides institutional oversight and support to students, faculty and staff, the President's Council on Diversity and individual college and non-academic diversity councils.
CSU has received the Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) award from Insight into Diversity magazine four times.
