A representative from Facilities, Safety, Architects and Technology (FAST) visits every new employee orientation session. Information about Environmental Health and Safety and the Office of Sustainability is included in this presentation.
The presentation delivers an introduction to the range of sustainability initiatives including energy, emissions, water, waste and recycling, buildings, landscapes, transport, cleaning, IT, purchasing, dining, events, labs, etc. It outlines CSU's commitments and provides an overview of key programs relating to energy, green buildings and recycling. It concludes with strategies that faculty and staff can implement in their daily life on campus.
