A brief description of the program:
Each department has a Chemical Hygiene Officer and there is a University Chemical Hygience Officer. Chemical Inbentories are maintained on the department level. Requests for the procurement of new chemicals are made to the department level officer, with copies forwarded to the University officer, and are reviewed against the Department Chemical Inventory.
