CSU's PC Procurement Policy requires the purchase and use of PCs and laptops from a very limited list of approved products. EPEAT standards are referenced when approving products for incorporation on this list. All our current generation and previous generation PCs and laptops are in the Gold category except for the current Dell laptop which is Silver. All of our current monitors are either Silver or Gold. We have been putting the high efficiency power supplies in all of the laptops for 3 years. We started to introduce LCD displays 8 years ago to help reduce power consumption for the University.
