All reported injuries are investigated by the supervisor and a “First Report of Injury” is filed regardless of the need of medical attention or not. Clemson additionally has an accident review board consisting of Risk Service and Insurance, Occupational and Environmental Safety, Enterprise Risk Management, Facilities and CUPD. The accident review board reviews the accidents, makes recommendations for improvement as well as works with the departments to coordinate training or help provide solutions to problems to make the University and work places safer.
