Clemson has advocated with the state of South Carolina, Public Service Commission, to allow Duke Energy to initiate a Green Source Advantage Program. The Green Source Advantage program builds on policy efforts in South Carolina to grow renewable energy. Clemson University would then purchase solar energy from the new array that would assist with their efforts to reach the goal of NetZero emissions by 2030. (see attached letter)
