A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
The Climate and Engagement Committee is a university group headed by our Chief Diversity and Inclusion officer that oversees these issues. They send out a campus wide survey to faculty, staff, and students. Large, holistic surveys occur every few years and smaller "pulse" surveys in the interim. The latest survey was conducted in 2019. Another survey will be conducted Spring 2024

Information from this assessment is reviewed by the university climate and engagement committee. The committee is then tasked with developing and carrying out a strategic plan to address issues that are raised.
