A brief description of the certified/verified sources of clean and renewable electricity:
Brookfield Renewable Energy generates power along the Raquette River. We purchase electricity and the associated RECs directly from them. Recharge NY provides electric power from the Robert Moses power dam in the nearby St. Lawrence River. This facility is operated by the NYPA, who includes the renewable energy resources as a part of the state mandate for clean energy.
A brief description of the on-site renewable electricity generating facilities/devices:
2 MW solar installation on Clarkson property. Owned and maintained by CES, all power purchased by Clarkson through a PPA, including all RECs that are retired
