Does the institution offer at least one immersive, sustainability-focused educational study program that is one week or more in length?:
Yes

A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution:
The Adirondack Semester is a 15-credit, off-campus domestic study program for undergraduates pursuing an experience that is enriching both academically and culturally. Live a semester as a resident explorer, entrepreneur, environmental scientist, poet and policy advocate of the Adirondack Park, one of the largest protected landscapes in North America. Become absorbed and committed, think bigger and work harder than you ever have to create intelligent solutions in a 6-million acre laboratory with wildlife, small town communities and recreation enthusiasts.

Sustainability & Environmental Conservation in Kenya is a upper level Biology course where students meet once a week during the semester to explore the economic, political, and social development of Kenya, and the environmental and social consequences of the Kenya's development path, with in focus on different strategies for environmental conservation, agriculture development, and infrastructure development. The objectives are to understand (1) how a model developing nation with an export and tourism-based economy functions, (2) what are the environmental and social consequences of development and (3) how an African nation's economy and its social & environmental welfare are linked to the political and economic policies of the US and other developed nations. At the end of the semester, the class takes a 2 week trip to Kenya to get an immersive experience about everything they have learned during the semester.
