The data were sorted by "departments" as defined in the registrar's database 1.3. Any class with an enrollment of zero was deleted 1.4. Duplicates for the same class (as defined by subject and catalog #) were deleted to count each course once (not # times each class offering) 1.5 Courses that are dbl #d across departments were limited to one entry in just one department (defined here based on instructor home). Courses that were double numbered between UG and Grad were left on both lists 1.6 The following types of classes were also deleted: Thesis/dissertation, seminars, independent study, directed study, professional experience/practicum/clinical rotations 2. Sustainability content 2.1. Sustainability content for each defined based on course catalog entries, reading of syllabi and interviews with instructors or departmental experts 2.2. Decision based on Focused or Inclusive sustainability content was made based on guidelines for STARS AC-01
