A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):

The format of the undergraduate and transfer student orientation involves
* a "Student Services Fair". Sustainability is featured at the fair where we can speak directly to students as they visit the different tables.
* a tour/scavenger hunt that includes a stop at the campus garden/greenhouse where they hear about those activities and play a recycling game
* parents also can attend services fair
* student orientation handbook has a section devoted to sustainability at Clarkson.
* a common reading and book discussion. This selected book has been related sustainability for the last couple years.

Orientation for new graduate students also includes an introduction to sustainability and the "So you think you can recycle" activity.
