A brief description of the methodology used to determine the total number of courses offered and to identify sustainability course offerings, including the definitions used and the process for reviewing and/or validating the course inventory :
Faculty in all departments were asked to identify courses taught in the last two years with sustainability content based on the instructions on the "readme" page of the attached spreadsheet. In addition to self reports, the course catalogue was reviewed to identify additional courses (some taught by adjuncts), which were not identified directly by faculty. These courses were identified based on key words that overlap with SDGs and a review of the course description. The total course count did not include P/NC, directed study, research, practicum, internship, clinical, ESL, or ROTC courses.
How were courses with multiple offerings or sections counted for the figures reported above?:
Each course was counted as a single course regardless of the number of offerings or sections
