A brief description of the institution’s sustainability partnerships with the local community:
* Sustainable Communities Outreach Program: Funded by Siemens, this program sponsors events on campus that promote sustainability. In 2012, the DigIn conference for school and work place gardens and the Youth Energy and Environmental Expo were held on campus.
* ISE is a co-sponsor of the local annual Sustainable Living Festival (http://www.sustainablelivingproject.net/)
* Peak Moments television show is sponsored by a local committee and aired on Clarkson's WCKN TV station (http://www.peakmoment.tv/)
