A brief description of the sustainable operations and maintenance policy/program and/or O+M rating system(s) used:
LEED, or Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design, is a green building certification program that recognizes best-in-class building strategies and practices. Clark has two LEED Gold and one LEED Silver certified building that are operated and maintained according to LEED requirements. In addition, all residence halls and houses, academic buildings and houses, libraries, functional and administrative office buildings are managed in accordance to multi-attribute sustainability management program (energy and water resource management with continual upgrades for efficiency, as well as green cleaning and interior air quality program).
The athletics buildings are considered single attribute managed; e.g. energy and water savings where possible and green cleaning where possible, however they are in more intensive use.
A few buildings are not included at all, even under a single-attribute management program: garages and unconditioned spaces

Clark policy (as mentioned elsewhere) is that sizable renovations are performed to LEED Silver standards, but when this is part of a larger building the Silver certification maintenance requirements are not guaranteed to be continued throughout the entire building.
