Claremont McKenna College is a highly selective, independent,
coeducational, residential, undergraduate liberal arts college. Its
mission, within the mutually supportive framework of The
Claremont Colleges, is to educate its students for thoughtful and

student scholarship that contribute to intellectual vitality and the
