partners are Brooklyn Greenway Initiative, Riders Alliance, Harbor Ring, Transit Center. We have funding to place 6 students each semester at local sustainability-related organizations and community groups.

Socioecological Research in Urban Parks Cooperative Education Program – partners are SRIJB, City College, and National Park Service. The program consists of a spring 2022 course and summer 2022 research fellowship for CUNY graduate students to research issues related to socioecological sustainability at Gateway National Recreation Area with the SRIJB and CSB.

Brooklyn College Garden: the garden is a verdant green space on the western edge of the campus where the college and neighboring community come together to learn about sustainable garden practices for urban environments, share gardening experiences, and promote a healthy and active lifestyle, all while fostering a sense of community.
