This information was collected from departmental bulletins and the inventory of undergraduate and graduate courses, which includes a list of courses and their descriptions. Cross-referenced each academic department's academic course offering with United Nations Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) and The Earth Charter Principles, in order to determine if a course was Sustainability-inclusive or Sustainability-focus as defined by STARS resource documents.

Courses were counted as they are listed in the undergraduate/graduate inventory list. Only courses offered by multiple department over the course of 1 academic year with course code/number under each of the different departments are counted as individual courses. The Course description will sate "this course is the same as [Department Name][Department Course Number].
