The institution participates in the Benchmark category of the RecycleMania tournament, focusing its efforts on the residential population (1,946 students). As part of the campaign, signs were displayed throughout the residence halls and trash rooms to inform students about what can/can't be recycled through the institution's waste management company. Students in our sustainability educators program led multiple workshops that engaged those in attendance in an active get-out-of-your-seat activity.
