Our Director for Service & Sustainability Learning serves on the statewide Sodexo Vermont First Advisory Board. In September 2014, Sodexo, a leader in delivering sustainable, integrated facilities management and foodservice operations with a major presence in Vermont, announced a major initiative to help grow Vermont’s local food economy by committing to buy local food first via a comprehensive program. Under the “Vermont First” program, Sodexo will work with farmers, distributors, processors, state government, non-profits and supply chain players within the farm to table economy to increase the amount of local food grown and sold in the state and beyond. https://vermontfirstsodexo.com/who-we-are/

Additionally, our Director for Service & Sustainability Learning hosts quarterly informal meetings with peers from the City of Burlington, University of Vermont, St. Michael's College, and the Community College of Vermont.

An informal mentorship/networking group with our neighboring institutions, particularly University of Vermont and St. Michael's College, and occasionally Community College of Vermont. We have quarterly meet ups and are informally known as the "Greater Burlington Campus Sustainability Network".

Through our membership in the Green Mountain Higher Education Consortium with St. Michael's College and Middlebury College, sustainability, facilities, and/or finance staff have worked on research related to transportation, waste, office paper, and other purchasing policies and practices.
