Central Washington University was honored with 2019 Tree Campus USA® recognition by the Arbor Day Foundation for its commitment to effective urban forest management. Since 2019, CWU has continued stewardship of campus trees through a tree advisory committee, annual Arbor Day celebrations, and student service-learning projects.
