Currently, there is the Environmental Club and the Cultural and Environmental Resource Managment Association that have focuses on many subsets of environmental issues, including sustainability on campus. Our Student Academic Senate has formed a sustainability committee within student government to bring the issues of campus sustainability.

The 2018-2019 Social Justice and Human Rights Dialogues were centered around the theme of Sustainability. CWU also hosts many Earth Day events in the month of April.

The Center for the Environment coordinates the development and delivery of environmental education, research, outreach, and leadership programs to better harmonize human-environment relationships. The Center applies an interdisciplinary perspective to understand and communicate the complexity of environmental problems and solutions at multiple scales, from campus to global sustainability. Alongside the Cultural and Environmental Resource Managment Club.
