Each year, the office of human resources conducts a market analysis to determine the relative market position for all college jobs. Compensation decisions take into consideration this information. Due to the cost-shared nature of the Office of Human Resources, acting on behalf of both the Ohio State University at Newark and Central Ohio Technical College, the figure of 694 includes 427 from COTC and 267 from Ohio State Newark.
