A brief description of the IPM plan(s) :
The Grounds department actively seeks out and implements an organic approach in accordance with IPM standards. It includes the use insecticidal soaps and biodegradable oils. It is currently not cost effective for us to use beneficial insects to control the bad insects on trees or shrubs, but considerations will be made for future planning. The current activities incorporate action thresholds, pest identification, prevention and control.
