Certified Floor Area
LEED O+M Platinum or the highest achievable level under another GBC rating system 0 Square feet
LEED O+M Gold or the 2nd highest level under another 4- or 5-tier GBC rating system 0 Square feet

Of the institution's uncertified building space, what percentage of floor area is maintained in accordance with a published indoor air quality (IAQ) management policy or protocol? (0-100):
100

A copy of the IAQ management policy or protocol:

Of the institution's uncertified building space, what percentage of floor area is maintained in accordance with a published green cleaning policy, program or contract ? (0-100):
100

A copy or the green cleaning policy:
A brief description of how green cleaning is incorporated into cleaning contracts:

All vendors and contractors are required to follow CNM standards and policies, including those that relate to cleaning products. However, cleaning is handled in-house, and so this policy is already integral to operations.

Of the institution's uncertified building space, what percentage of floor area is maintained in accordance with an energy management or benchmarking program? (0-100):
100

A brief description of the energy management or benchmarking program:

Electric Submeters have been installed in all buildings and kWh are being tracked and recorded by our Alterton Compass System. This data is available to the Sustainability Project Manager and other Physical Plant Staff. It will be further refined by our upcoming dashboards by LUCID company (PO in progress) and at which point, available to the public (analytics available internally). Currently, data is reported to internal and external stakeholders on an as-needed basis, primarily for emissions reporting, sizing solar facilities, utility loads for individual buildings, commissioning and recommissioning projects/purposes/goals. Gas and water submeters are to be implemented in the next fiscal year (2020).

Of the institution's uncertified building space, what percentage of floor area is maintained in accordance with a water management or benchmarking program? (0-100):
41.30

A brief description of the water management or benchmarking program:

LEED requires that all buildings seeking LEED Certification must water consumption that is 20% less than baselines (as determined by EPAct of 1992). All LEED Certified Buildings (41.3 percent) require bench-marking and reporting. The EPA Energy Star is the program used for fixtures in order to reduce indoor water usage. Management and analysis, is further handled in Energy Start Portfolio (this has been somewhat problematic as not all buildings are sub-metered and so just report figures based on main meters. Sub-metering was not required by LEED until v4, so a bit of an unintended contradiction). Nonetheless, water management and reduction is a fundamental aspect of the LEED program that the institution must follow for newly constructed and renovated buildings. Currently the entire campus is also under review by teh Albuquerque-Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (ABCWUA) to identify meters that may be miscalculating flows and for any other discrepancies that may be related to infrastructure and metering.
