A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution, including how each program addresses the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of sustainability:
1) 2015-CURRENT. CNM's Sustainability Curriculum Committee offers 2 experiential learning experience-based project programs, Recyclemania is offered in the fall and Water in the Desert (#WitD) is offered in the spring. For a Certificate of Completion (in each individual program), students must immerse themselves in at least 15 hours, over 4-8 weeks, of activities, lectures and other learning opportunities that largely focus on local issues with waste, resource conservation and pollution. Students must provide a variety of deliverablse to individual instructors, Facilities Sustaianbility Campus Living Lab Sustainability Project Manager, and to the Sustainability Curriculum Committee to establish completion.

2) CNM still employs students through the Americorps program where students work in the community in healthcare, community gardening and other social programs.

3) CNM also partners with the League of United Latin American Citizens to prepare first generation students for college as well as to close gaps in learning through tutoring and other activities. This partnership has continued for over a decade. https://lulac.org/
