A brief description of the institution’s wellness and/or employee assistance program(s):
Get Fit and Stay Well is an Employee Wellness program available to all faculty and staff through CNM's Employee Training Department. The program is in a pilot phase, with Spring 2014 being the second term the training was made available. It's an 11-week cohort program intended to boost morale, improve health and fitness, increase productivty and decrease stress and tension in the workplace. There is an equal balance of health theory and physical fitness and movement and a focus on healthy eating (Julie Fisher reported 2013-2014) Update, 2016: There is now a mindful program for all staff and students.
